Salyersville Fire Department in Magoffin County, Kentucky has purchased this ATR-2 folding frame Res-Q for use in cooperation with the new "AREA-9 ATV Rhino Res-Q Team." Salyersville FD personnel completed the Kentucky Dept. of Agriculture's new "ATV Safety & Rescue" training program at the 2007 Daniel Boone Fire / Rescue School in Moorehead, Kentucky in May 2007. This program is one of several taught throughout the state by KDA's "Farm & Home Safety Training Program." All Terrain Res-Q ATV / OHV Rescue News: Posted: October 10, 2007 3-Year-Old Ulster Todler Injured In ATV Accident A 3-year-old Sayre girl sustained severe head injury following an ATV accident that occured on the railroad tracks behind the Dandy Mini Mart in the township late Sunday Morning. Pennsylvania State Police reported that at 11 AM Sunday, a 2008 Polaris Sportsman X2 700CC ATV driven by Thomas Darrow, 26, of Sayre, was traveling north along the railroad tracks when, for reasons unknown, the 3-year-old girl and Shawn Darrow, 24, fell off the ATV. At the time, the single seat ATV was being operated with a driver and two passengers on board, police said. Also, at the time the accident occured, none of the three riders on the ATV were wearing helmets. The little girl was transported by ambulance to Robert Packer Hospital with a severe head injury while Shawn Darrow received only minor injuries. According to police, charges of reckless endangerment of a child will be filed against Tomas Darrow as a result of injuries the girl sustained. PENNSYLVANIA

Two Boys In Fair Condition After ATV Accident WICHITA, KS Two boys, ages 9 and 10, were seriously hurt when their mini ATV was hit by a truck Friday. They remain hospitalized in fair condition. The collision happened at about 1:15 p.m. Friday at 22nd North and Park Place, police said. The young boys were traveling south on the roadway riding an ATV barely bigger than a tricycle. They were trying to keep up with another ATV in front of them, the older boy's mother said. Neither boy was wearing a helmet as they followed the first ATV through the intersection without stopping. The truck driver, who was heading east on 22nd, did not have time to stop before he hit the boys on the ATV. After investigating the incident, police said the truck driver will not be ticketed.
