TWO 6-YEAR-OLD BOYS KILLED IN SEPARATE PENNSYLVANIA ATV CRASHES

Pennsylvania police are investigating a pair of ATV accidents, both killing 6-year-old boys this weekend.

Officials say Kyle Neece of Williamsport was killed when he crashed the ATV he was operating Saturday afternoon.  According to witnesses, he wasn't wearing a helmet when his four-wheeler plunged down a 75-foot embankment to Lycoming Creek.  He died after being flown to a hospital.

A second 6-year-old boy died in an ATV accident that occured around 1:30 PM, Sunday in Franklin Township, Chester County.  No further details are available at this time.

Pennsylvania State law prohibits anyone under the age of eight from operating a motorized vehicle.  However, police aren't saying whether charges will be filed in either incident.

TWO-YEAR-OLD INJURED IN ATV ACCIDENT -- ATV DRIVEN BY 10-YEAR-OLD BROTHER

EL PASO, TX

A toddler is hurt in Northeast El Paso while riding as a passenger on an ATV Sunday evening.

It happened a little after 5pm when police say a 2-year-old boy was riding on the back of the All Terrain Vehicle, while his 10-year-old brother was driving.

According to police, the kids hit a rough patch of terrain and the toddler was thrown off the ATV, landing on his face. A passerby on another ATV found the child and called for help.

The boy was not wearing any kind of protective gear and was taken to the hospital with a serious laceration his eye. The boy's older brother was not hurt.

Police say they're pressing charges against the father for allowing his sons to ride the vehicle.

LEE COUNTY CHILD KILLED IN ATV ACCIDENT

A 10-year-old boy died from massive head injuries when a utility type all-terrain-vehicle flipped on top of him.

Lee County Coroner Bill Harris identified the boy as Josh Evans, 10, of Salem, Alabama.

The boy was riding alone about 4:30 p.m. Saturday at a friend's home when he apparently looked away from his direction of travel and struck a utility pole guide wire.

"The utility ATV ran up the wire and then flipped on its side, landing on top of the boy."

Evans was pronounced dead at the scene, Harris said.

POLICE IDENTIFY GIRL, 14, KILLED IN SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT

GREENFIELD, NH

Police have identified the 14-year-old Greenfield, New Hampshire girl who died from a snowmobile accident last weekend.

Kaylee Schnurr and her 15-year-old brother drove a snowmobile onto Route 31 and into the passenger door of a Jeep Cherokee about 9 a.m. last Saturday.  She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Her brother, Lowell Schnurr, 15, was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchock Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say it doesn't appear either of the children had participated in the New Hampshire required snowmobile safety class. Also, Kaylee Schnurr was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which is required for snowmobile operators under age 18 in New Hampshire.
