On Saturday evening June 17, 2006 during the NASCAR Busch Series - MEIJER 300, driver JEFF FULLER #34 intentionally turned his race car in an effort to avoid hitting the driver's door of fellow race driver Jason Leffler. Traveling at 180 MPH, the impact could have been fatal.

FULLER's car slammed "right side" first into the infield retaining wall at +150 MPH; "going sideways" and burst into flames upon impact.  Fuller hit the inside wall near an opening which provides rapid access to the race track by fire and safety vehicles operated by KENTUCKY F.A.S.T.

KENTUCKY F.A.S.T. Fire / Rescue personnel extinguished the fire and safely extricated the driver from his badly damaged car.
